This was my second stay, and it was better than the first time, which was also good. The main issue during my first visit was the spotty wifi, but this time everything worked fine. I was on the highest floor for rooms and had an amazing view. This time I did visit the rooftop cafe, and the view was excellent. I really love the location of the hotel as it's at the very entrance of Yeongdo and just a short walk across the bridge to Nampo-dong. Staying on this side of Busan makes traveling to areas such as Taejongdae, Gamcheon Culture Village and Dadaepo beach a lot more convenient. Travelers have complained about public transportation being too far away, but for able-bodied people, the short walk to the subway station is pretty easy. Plus, the buses aren't too difficult to figure out and are quite close to the hotel. This is definitely the hotel I'll stay at whenever on the west side of Busan.

Smart, modern and comfortable rooms. We booked two rooms - a double standard ocean view and a twin standard ocean view. They were next to each other and both had large floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the water. The view was interesting, with fishing boats in the harbor below, and the high-rise flats and mountains on the other side of the water. There were tea-making facilities and a seating area and desk, which could be separated from the bedroom with sliding glass doors if needed. There is a Starbucks also with a lovely view (good for affordable breakfast) just a few minutes' walk away. It is directly opposite the hotel, just on the other side of the fishing harbour.

Lavalse Hotel was a great base for touring Busan. The views from our 16th floor were fantastic overlooking the city and the port. While we didn’t use the public transportation system everything in Busan, including all the renowned beaches, were easily accessible by taxi and not expensive at all. The hotel itself was beautiful and even produces their own craft beers! The rooftop patio was incredible with views 360 degree views of the port. Every evening, just outside the front door of the hotel were pop-up food stands offering daily catches from the local fisherman surrounded by tugboats and the port. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are travelling to Busan.

Our suite was spacious, comfortable and nicely furnished. We could watch sunrise and sunset, with almost 180-degree views from its corner position overlooking the city and waterways. We liked that the hotel was a stroll away from the heart of Busan across your choice of two bridges. There was also a bustling street food market just outside the door most nights, and lots of great local restaurants nearby. Breakfast in the hotel was extensive and good quality, but the same Korean dishes were served every day. A little variety would have been nice given we were there for 4 nights.

We booked a corner room up high to take advantage of the views. This did not disappoint. Views were fantastic! The location is the BEST. Just outside of Nampo-Dong it takes advantage of being close to all activity yet a quieter place to return to for the evenings. Having said that there is plenty to do in Yeongdo with markets and BBQ stalls very close. it feels more local and not as touristy. The staff are lovely and helpful. Finally, the bed was wonderful! The most comfortable bed. The toilet bidet, excellent.
